Regular eating of broccoli can reduce wrinkles, acne, pigmentation, fine lines etc. Broccoli is also enriched with other antioxidants such as flavonoids, carotenoids, lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotene etc.

2) Cancer Prevention: Broccoli is extremely suitable for preventing breast and uterus cancer as broccoli has cancer fighting and immune boosting properties. Estrogens are natural hormones that are important in sexual development and also other body functions. Researchers have shown that after menopause women are at increased risk of breast cancer if they have higher amounts of estrogen in the blood. Broccoli has some properties by which it is able to deplete estrogens.

People suffering from arthritis should include broccoli in their diet since broccoli contains sulforaphane which blocks the enzymes that can cause joint destruction and hence lead to destruction. Broccoli also contains sufficient amount of omega-3 fatty acids which are anti-inflammatory.
